What is the Haunted Library OCT?
-The haunted library is an Original Character Tournament that takes place in an expansive haunted library.

When will auditions start?
-November 5th

When are auditions due?
-January 31st

How do I submit my audition?
-By noting the group your reference and first page to your audition

Why isn't my ref in the gallery yet?
-Refs will only be added to the gallery if they come with a completed audition

Why isn't my audition in the gallery yet?
-Auditions will only be added to the gallery if they are completed

How many people are you accepting in this shindig?
-32

What happens when each round ends?
-The judges will all yell at each other and we decide who the winners of that round are

How are you deciding who’s matched up with who?
-Randomly via number generator

How much time do I have for each round?
-Rounds will be 4 weeks long. If requested by enough artists, we can extend them by one week. Dahn't be slackin' if ya' plan on bein' overly-ambitious.

What if I forfeit because I have real life responsibilities?
-If you forfeit a round, or fail to submit an entry, your opponent wins.

Whoa bro! What if we both forfeit?
-If two people fail to submit by the end of the round, they will both get disqualified and the judges will decide who from the previous round will get to come back and fill the gap.

Can I team up with a friend and tag team this tournament?
-Totally! You can still only have a max of two characters though.

Are spectator entries allowed?
-Yeah.

Are written entries allowed?
-Unfortunately no. Some of our ADD-ridden judges(Gooseworx) simply can’t handle the treacherous endeavor that is reading.

Can I submit animations instead of comics?
-Go for it! As long as you can deliver before the end of the round.

Why should I participate in this OCT?
-If you’re a fan of spooky scary mystery, this’ll be just your type of adventure! If, not, there’s still plenty more this OCT has to offer.

Who are the judge NPCs?
-These charming fellas!(list currently unfinished)

How much creative liberty do I have with these NPCs?
-As much as you need to tell your story. Obviously keep them the same characters, but feel free to create whatever backstory or evil schemes you need.

Are there going to be predestined events for each round?
-Nope. The only thing that'll change per round is the person you'll be facing off with.

What constitutes as a "fight?"
-The two characters have to come to a disagreement or misunderstanding that causes them to be "against each other" at at least one point. Whether punches are actually thrown, or someone's just trying to run away and hide.

Does anyone live in this library beside the judge NPCs?
-Nawp. This library is abandoned other than the occasional rat, moth, or spider. I'm sure there are some demons or whatever concealed in some of the books, but they're currently unsummoned.

How big is the library?
-Pretty darn huge! There’s enough wide open space for about five Quidditch matches. I mean if Doorbell isn't claustrophobic, it must be pretty expansive.

Can my character leave the library?
-It’s an underground library with no doors or openings… so good luck?

Does my character have to be a human?
-Your character can be whatever you want it to be. as long as it abides to the character rules
